3rd CCACC Award Ceremony takes place in Jinan

The annual award ceremony of the third Cross-lingual Chanting Assembly of Confucian Classics (CCACC) was held in Jinan, Shandong province on March 30. Since its launch in September 2023, the third CCACC has received over 12,000 submissions from Chinese culture enthusiasts across 50 countries and regions.

The ceremony presented a unique blend of tradition and modernity. It featured innovative performances that integrated traditional Confucian concepts with modern forms of expression such as street dance, electronic music, and rap.

The performances connected Confucian ideas from family ethics to national governance and the pursuit of world harmony, offering the audience a captivating experience that transcended time and space.

The event also featured renowned scholars and experts in philology and sinology. Through artifact interpretation and video interviews, they engaged in insightful discussions on the essence of Confucianism.

In addition, the event marked the launch of the 4th CCACC.
