A delegation of 16 teachers and students from the South African Cape Mathematics and Science Institute recently visited Zibo Experimental School – located in the city of Zibo, in East China's Shandong province.

During their visit, they were met by Wang Chunhua, the vice secretary of the school's Party Committee, who spoke at the welcoming ceremony.

Wang extended a warm welcome to the visitors, highlighting the strong and friendly relationship between the two schools.

Their collaboration is said to have become much closer since the formation of the Zibo Experimental School Education Group.

The Zibo Experimental School Education Group places great importance on the development of the Confucius Classroom and the promotion of Chinese language and cultural exchanges.

It's even sent teachers to South Africa to teach Chinese language and culture, fostering deep friendships.

The hope is for continued exchanges and cooperation to expand students' international horizons and enhance the quality of education.

During the visit, the South African delegation had the opportunity to experience various aspects of Chinese culture, including mooncake making, tai chi and Chinese calligraphy at Zibo Experimental School – as well as mask painting and Luban lock crafting at Zibo Qisheng High School.
