The forum gathered cultural experts, scholars, and media representatives from around the world to discuss the core characteristics of Yellow River culture and its contemporary values, the development path for the protection and inheritance of Yellow River culture, as well as ways to better present the values of Yellow River culture in the new era.

According to Hou Quanliang, chairman of the Yellow River Conservancy Writers Association, from previous international cooperation on the Yellow River governance, there are many practices in the international communication of the Yellow River culture, mainly through the communication of the Yellow River culture to foreigners in China and the communication of international conferences abroad.

Burkhard Risse, an expert of the German language of Foreign Languages Press, pointed out that Yellow River culture dissemination and ecological tourism promotion have very broad prospects overseas, which can not only attract a large number of foreign tourists, but also help to build a more comprehensive image of China overseas.

Yu Yunquan, director of the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, suggested strengthening global research as a means to improve the accuracy of international communication of Yellow River culture.

The Yellow River, known as China's "mother river" and the cradle of Chinese civilization, flows about 5,464 kilometers through nine provincial-level regions. It is an age-old witness to the nation's history, and the Yellow River Basin is a political, economic and cultural center in China.
