A group of 16 expats from countries including Cambodia, Germany, and the United States took a short tour of Huashan Mountain Historical and Cultural Wetland Park in Jinan, Shandong province on Dec 8 and participated in a series of activities.

The event, titled "Touching Jinan", was hosted by the Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Jinan municipal foreign affairs office. It was aimed at providing an exchange platform for expats and allowing expats to learn more about Jinan.

Expats took a walk at the Huashan Mountain Historical and Cultural Wetland Park and got to admire the lush environment.

The Huashan Mountain Historical and Cultural Westland Park, which measures nearly 6.25 square kilometers, is the largest wetland in downtown Jinan.

The "Touching Jinan" event is a regular activity held by the Jinan municipal foreign affairs office and the Jinan people's association for friendship with foreign countries.

The event frequently invites foreign experts, enterprise executives, and overseas students in Jinan to discuss issues related to the city's epidemic prevention and control situation, the international environment and traditional Chinese festivals.
