Chrysanthemum planting increases farmers' income

The blooming chrysanthemum flowers at a medicinal plant base in Wangfu subdistrict of Qingzhou, Shandong province have attracted hordes of visitors.

In recent years, Qingzhou has accelerated the integrated development of its agriculture and rural tourism sectors. Through the development model of "company + planting base + farmers", Qingzhou has been promoting the planting and processing of medical herbs such as chrysanthemum and eucommia ulmoides, which has greatly increased local farmers' incomes.
