Sanjianxi village in Zhangqiu district, Jinan, Shandong province has seen economic growth due to the efforts of the local government.

Located in the suburban area of Jinan where it is surrounded by mountains and water, Shanjianxi boasts unique ancient villages and a good ecological environment.

In recent years, the village has integrated its distinctive resources and developed a series of featured industries, including rural tourism, ecological agriculture, and traditional culture.

A snack street featuring local delicacies has been built, receiving around 6,000 tourists per day. As a part of the village's rural tourism project, the street has offered jobs for more than 200 villagers, with their annual per capita income reaching 10,000 yuan ($1,424.86).

Sanjianxi village has 1,160 households and 3,384 residents. In 2019, the collective income of the village reached 3.03 million yuan, and the per capita net income increased to 30,000 yuan.
