Jinan, capital city of Shandong province aims to build two to five community business centers with national standards, Sun Hongyi, a member of the 14th Jinan Committee of China's People Political Consultative Conference said on Jan 27.

Sun Hongyi, also the director of Jinan Commerce Bureau said that the community business centers will provide local residents with services covering various aspects including daily necessities, drugstores, haircutting and express deliveries. 

Langmaoshan community business center, the first of its kind in Shandong province, was launched in Jinan's downtown in November, 2018, which has proven to be a successful model for future centers, and brought added convenience to the daily lives of local residents.  

The Jinan Commerce Bureau has set upon selecting locations with the intention of building more community centers offering comprehensive services for the public.
