Rope netting innovation flourishes in Binzhou

Print PrintWith a population of 38,800, Lizhuang town, Huimin county, Binzhou, Shandong, is renowned for its rope and netting industry, with over 36,000 of its residents directly involved in the industry.

A visit to the town's rope and netting culture experience center reveals a vast array of rope netting products, from large-scale safety nets and aerospace ropes to small, everyday items like hemp crafts.
The town boasts over 2,700 rope netting enterprises and 4,600 processing households, producing more than 320 varieties of products in eight major categories. Lizhuang town's rope netting products have a market share of over 80 percent in China and are exported to 103 countries and regions, generating an annual output value of 16 billion yuan ($2.2 billion).
To foster innovation and development, Lizhuang town has established the country's first advanced technology research institute for rope netting and the city's first rope netting productivity promotion center.

Additionally, the town has built the nation's first big data platforms for the rope netting industry and targeted investment promotion. The town also has over 3,600 e-commerce businesses.
Huimin county has implemented a series of favorable policies to provide policy support for the industry.
