During the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit, Ueda Toshihiro, executive officer of AGC Inc. and chief representative of AGC Group for China, said in an interview with China Daily website that he sees the summit as a vital platform for global company leaders to connect.

He believes that Shandong province has immense development potential, emphasizing its strategic coastal location that fosters a unique engagement with the global community. He underlined the proximity of Shandong to Japan which offers numerous opportunities for Japanese companies.
