The fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit is being held from Aug 27 to 29 in Qingdao, Shandong province.

For the first time, this year's summit featured a guest interview channel. Nine leaders from multinationals shared their experiences and insights with the media, as part of an effort to create new opportunities for exchange and collaboration.

Several executives of multinationals have expressed that the summit is an important manifestation of China's gradual expansion of high-level opening-up to the outside world. It gives them more confidence to make long-term inroads into the Chinese market and to work hand in hand with China to create a better future.
