As the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit approaches, Binzhou is gearing up to take center stage. The city has planned a series of events, including a special promotion conference and a signing ceremony for major investment cooperation projects, to leverage the summit's platform and attract global investors.

The Binzhou special promotion conference is scheduled to kick off on Aug 28.

Among the projects for which agreements are to be signed, 21 are expected to exceed 1 billion yuan ($140 million) in total investment, accounting for approximately 40 percent of all projects for which agreements will be signed. The total planned investment for all confirmed projects is expected to exceed 56 billion yuan.

Notably, seven of these projects are foreign-funded, with a planned total investment exceeding $1 billion.

This diverse array of projects spans several key industries in Binzhou, including high-end aluminum, fine chemicals, high-end equipment, new energy, new materials, food processing, the low-altitude economy, and modern services.

By actively participating in the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit, Binzhou aims to showcase its investment potential, attract global capital, and accelerate its economic development.
