The Boy Choir of the Glinka Choir College, the oldest and most pretigious boys' choir in Russia, paid a visit to Chongqing Road Primary School in Zhangdian district, Zibo, Shandong on April 30.

The choir has witnessed many important historical moments in Russia and has become a symbol of traditional Russian culture.

They visited a paper-cutting club and calligraphy club at the primary school in Zibo, personally experiencing and immersing themselves in Chinese traditional culture. They enthusiastically participated in traditional cultural activities such as calligraphy, paper-cutting, and appreciating dazzling colored glaze artworks, giving them deep insight into Chinese culture.

Zheng Ruimei, principal of Chongqing Road Primary School in Zhangdian district, delivered a welcome speech, expressing her hope that through this activity, children and teens from China and Russia can use music as a medium to forge friendships.

Singers of the Boy Choir of the Glinka Choir College and the Jiayin Choir from Chongqing Road Primary School sang the popular Chinese folk song Mo Li Hua, or The Jasmine Flower.

This activity brought a strong international atmosphere to Chongqing Road Primary School, building friendship across borders and helping cultivate students with an international perspective and strong cultural confidence.
