A conference on Shandong tourism development will be held in Linyi, Shandong province from April 25 to 26. The conference will invite representatives of major source market countries and regions, foreign diplomats, overseas tourism organizations and associations, and overseas airline representatives to attend, while also showcasing the achievements of high-quality tourism development in Shandong and exploring new opportunities for the tourism industry.

Before and after the conference, from early April to the end of May, Shandong will organize a series of high-quality performances in all cities across the province.

During the conference, activities such as sightseeing tours of cultural and tourism projects and investment promotion conferences for key cultural and tourism projects will also be held.

In recent years, Linyi has been promoting the in-depth integration of culture and tourism. In 2023, the city received 83.06 million tourists and generated tourism revenue of 76.5 billion yuan ($10.5 billion).

The event is expected to serve as a platform for Shandong province to further promote high-quality tourism development, strengthen international cooperation, and inject new vitality into the province's tourism industry.
