A Russian business delegation recently visited Bolu Heavy Industry (Shandong) Company in Linzi district, Zibo, Shandong to discuss machinery manufacturing and culture.

The delegation members explored the development history of Shanghai-brand tractors produced in Zibo and the rich and ancient Qi culture of Zibo's Linzi district, which was once the capital of Qi, one of the most powerful states during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) and the following Warring States Period (475-221 BC) for more than 800 years.

According to the head of Bolu Heavy Industry, the Shanghai-brand tractors produced by the Shanghai Tractor Factory have been widely sold throughout the country and are a well-known agricultural machinery brand. As the sole authorized manufacturer of national-brand Shanghai tractors, Bolu Heavy Industry has kept the glorious history of the national brand alive.

In addition to learning about the history of the Shanghai-brand tractor, the Russian business delegation also learned about the long history of Linzi, which is rich in Qi culture.

"This is my first time in Zibo, Shandong, and I can feel that it is a city rich in history and culture. It is quite different from Russian culture, urban development, and natural scenery. This has given me a comprehensive understanding of this city", said a member of the delegation.
