The 2024 Heze Peony International Communication Forum in Heze city, East China's Shandong province, on April 12 aims to promote Heze peony culture globally.

The city of Heze is renowned for its status as the "hometown of peonies." Heze boasts the largest peony cultivation and research center in the world. As of 2023, the city was home to a collection of 1,308 distinct varieties of the flower.
