In Liaocheng's Chiping district, Xinfa Industrial Park is revolutionizing strawberry cultivation. Residents of Lepingpu town are now witnessing the marvel of ripe strawberry harvests within smart glass greenhouses.

Covering 10 hectares, the park features four state-of-the-art glass greenhouses employing an avant-garde two-layer shading and three-layer insulation and three-layer vertical planting technique. The result is a breathtaking cascade of strawberry cultivation troughs, seemingly descending from the heavens.

Embracing soilless cultivation with imported coconut husks and a self-designed automatic drip irrigation system, the park effectively wards off pests, diseases, and heavy metal contamination. Consequently, the strawberry picking season extends by a considerable three to four months, yielding a remarkable 5,000 kilograms per mu (0.06 hectares) — tripling the output of traditional glass greenhouses.

This innovative approach not only ensures sustainable farming but also underscores the fusion of nature and technology. The park stands as a beacon of agricultural ingenuity, offering a glimpse into the future of high-yield, environmentally conscious crop production.
