Shandong focuses on green energy development at annual sessions

State Grid Shandong Electric Power Co, or Shandong Electric Power Corporation, pledged to expedite grid digitalization and smart upgrades, forging a cutting-edge electricity network centered on renewable sources. Efforts include integrating new energy projects and deploying advanced technologies for efficient power management.
Precedent to two sessions, Qingyun county in Dezhou showcased remarkable strides in green energy integration. Leveraging abundant resources, the county achieved a milestone – green electricity generation surpassing total social consumption, a first in the province.

Qingyun county's integration of production, transmission, storage and other processes heralds a new era in energy management. Plans are underway to bolster its position as a green energy leader, fostering innovation in power market participation and aiming to become Shandong's premier all-area, all-time green showcase.
