Shandong Diamond Heavy Industry Machinery Co Ltd, a Chinese excavator manufacturer located in Yucheng, Shandong province, is intensifying efforts to go global further with high-end products.

Aiming for high-quality development, the company will continue to pursue "high-end, service-oriented" international transformation and enhance its ability to provide global services, generating products with higher quality and better performance, and further expanding its markets across the world, according to a statement of the firm.

The company's international orders are expected to increase by 90 percent this year. Many of its global clients are from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, the company said.

The firm exported its first excavator in 2007 and has so far sold its products to more than 30 countries and regions including Russia, Central Asia and Southeast Asia countries, many of which are related to the Belt and Road Initiative. Till now, it has become a major supplier and manufacturer of wheeled excavators for many famous foreign brands.

Currently, in the Central Asia region and Russia, one out of every four wheeled excavators exported from China is manufactured by Diamond Heavy Industry.

The Belt and Road Initiative serves as an inclusive and open bridge to bring business people and companies from different countries and regions together to share growth opportunities and meet mutual demands for both high-quality products, services and employment chances, Yang Weiyong, an associate professor of economics at the University of International Business and Economics, commented.
