A special promotion activity highlighting the quality of Shandong-made products was held on Nov 11 at the Beijing Exhibition Center.

Hosted by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and organized by the Shandong Administration for Market Regulation, the activity was part of the "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong" event, which is being held from Nov 10 to 12 in Beijing, showcasing Shandong's renowned brands, high-tech products, specialties, handicrafts and picturesque landscapes.

Wang Guiying, vice-governor of Shandong, attended the event and delivered a speech. During her speech, Wang stated that brands are important symbols of high-quality development, and in recent years, Shandong has devoted significant efforts to create the regional public brand "Remarkable Shandong".

According to Wang, 328 local brands and products have been included in the "Remarkable Shandong" catalogue, embodying the hard work and wisdom of Shandong people, and demonstrating their responsibility and commitment in boosting China's strength in product quality.

Wang said that Shandong will continue to adhere to the principles of integrity, innovation and quality first, in hopes to provide better products and services to consumers.

A supporting exhibition has also been held, showcasing high-quality products from Shandong covering manufacturing, high tech, smart home devices and food.
