The China (Shandong) · Kuwait Culture and Tourism Event kicked off on June 21 in Kuwait, with over 600 people, including representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, various sectors of society, and overseas Chinese, attending.

Zhang Jianwei, the Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait, said at the opening ceremony that the friendship between the people of China and Kuwait has a long history and remains strong. China is willing to work together with Kuwait to further develop cultural, educational, tourism, and local cooperation, and enrich the content of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Shandong Acrobatic Troupe, Jinan Lyu Opera Troupe, and other provincial artists presented a fusion of local Chinese traditions and international artistic works, impressing the audiences with various Chinese acrobatic skills such as stilts, Chinese and Arabic folk music played with traditional Chinese musical instruments like the pipa and erhu, and performances such as Peking Opera.
