The 2022 International Summit on Innovation and Development of Youth Entrepreneurs and the Youth Economic and Social Development Innovation Forum will be held from July 18 to 19 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.

The event will be held via both online and offline channels, with the main venue in Jinan, and sub-venues scattered about in the province's 16 cities.

According to the organizers, the summit is designed to build a platform that connects resources and creates conditions for young entrepreneurs to participate in the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. It aims to attract more outstanding young entrepreneurs at home and abroad to carry out exchanges and cooperation and invest in Shandong.

Big name entrepreneurs, such as Dong Mingzhu, chairwoman of Gree Electric Appliances, and Ma Weihua, chairman of the National Fund for Technology Transfer and Commercialization and former president of China Merchants Bank, will attend the summit.

In addition, experts and scholars, as well as representatives from industry leading companies and outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises will also participate in the summit.

A total of 157 high-quality projects involving a combined investment of 184.21 billion yuan ($27.47 billion) will be promoted during the summit. These projects cover the internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence, chips and other fields.
