The 2021 Japan-ROK (Qingdao) Imports Online Expo opened in Qingdao, Shandong province, on Dec 17.

The two-day exhibition functioned as a platform that facilitates China-Japan-ROK economic and trade cooperation by integrating exhibition promotions with business negotiations.

The event also featured offline supporting activities including roadshows, seminars, and promotional conferences.

The exhibition was divided into three sections for Japanese and South Korean imported goods, cross-border e-commerce products and Japanese and South Korean equipment enterprises.

More than 5,000 products from 700 enterprises from China, Japan and South Korea were available at the online platform. These products included smart beauty products, daily chemical products, shoes, clothing, bags, food, beverage, equipment manufacturing, daily use, digital appliances, and home decoration materials.

More than 10 Japanese agencies and large-scale companies from Kushiro in Hokkaido, Asagiri-cho in Kumamoto prefecture, and Tajimi in Gifu prefecture took part in the exhibition for the first time.

The Seminar on China-Japan-ROK Local Economic and trade Cooperation in Business and Industry (Qingdao) was held to explore ways to deepen bilateral and multilateral economic and trade cooperation under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership framework.

A series of retail activities was held during the event to display and sell daily supplies and decorations from Japan and South Korea.
