Meteor shower lights up Mount Tai

One of the most spectacular annual celestial events, the Geminid meteor shower, returned to the sky and lit up Mount Tai as scheduled on the morning of Dec 14.

As one of the three major meteor showers in the northern hemisphere, the Gemini meteor shower boasts a maximum of 100 meteors per hour.
