At the 2020 National Science and Technology Awards Conference held in Beijing on Nov 3, the "Key Technologies and Applications of Agricultural Machinery Automatic Navigation Operations Based on the Beidou Navigation Satellite System" project, partly carried out by Weichai Lovol Heavy Industry, won the second-place prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award category.

The project has made breakthroughs in key technological areas such as navigation and positioning, path tracking, automatic obstacle avoidance, master-slave navigation, vehicle-mounted terminals and system integration, providing important support for the development of smart agriculture in China.
