As one of the provinces with the longest coastline in China, Shandong is rich in coastal wind resources and enjoys significant advantages in developing the offshore wind power equipment industry.

In recent years, Shandong has strived to build itself into a maritime powerhouse by launching measures like building the 10 million-kilowatt offshore wind power base, as well as carrying out the first batch of pilot and demonstration projects for the integrated development of offshore wind power and marine ranches.
