The Jinan Green Construction International Industrial Park in the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation is expected to be put into trial operation in October.

The park is the result of the Jinan start-up area's efforts to promote green and low-carbon development. It is also one of the projects that implement the ecological protection and high-quality development strategy of the Yellow River Basin.

The first phase of the park covers an area of 190,000 square meters and represents an investment of 1 billion yuan ($154.7 million). It includes a green construction production center, supporting service centers, and operation centers. The construction of the park will be completed by the end of 2021.

The park will be occupied by Johnson Controls, one of the world's top 500 companies, and a number of enterprises such as Shandong Fangyin Special Equipment Company, Shandong Oushi New Energy Company, and Shandong Meiran Hydrogen Power Company.
