The Jinan Start-up Area of Growth and Drivers Transformation recently unveiled its goals for future development.

By 2025, the comprehensive strength of the area is expected to be greatly improved, and the construction of the area will take shape. By 2030, the area would have developed its core advantages and improved its comprehensive functions.

By 2035, the area will form a modern industrial system. The construction of a green, smart and livable urban area will be completed.

The Jinan Start-up Area of Growth and Drivers Transformation was approved by the State Council on April 25, 2021. The area will focus on developing modern manufacturing, modern service and cultural industries to help the city's high-quality development.

The area will create a world-class business environment and build a demonstration zone for opening up in the Yellow River Basin. More efforts will be made to improve the environment in the area and build "waste-free city" demonstration areas.
