Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, opened its first direct flight route to Tianfu International Airport in Chengdu, Sichuan province on June 30. It is also the first of its kind in Shandong province.

Currently, Jinan operates direct flight routes to Tianfu International Airport and Shuangliu International Airport in Chengdu, promoting links between the two cities.

Jinan has been making efforts to promote its airline network in recent years. As of June 29, a daily average of 11 flights is operated between Jinan to Chengdu.

There are also an average of more than five flights per day from Jinan to Kunming, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Harbin, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Nanning, and Haikou, which meet the diversified travel needs of tourists and businessmen.
