The wind turbines plant at Bohai Bay in Shandong is a storage facility for wind turbines manufactured by Shandong Electric Power Corporation in the province's Yantai, Binzhou, and Rizhao cities. The total installed capacity of wind turbines in Shandong was projected to reach more than 8 million kilowatts at the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-15) and 15 million kW in 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-20). By 2030, wind turbines bases will be installed in the northern part of Shandong - in Laizhou Bay and other places - with a total capacity of 12.55 million kW.
