Jinan Energy Group and Greenland Holding Group Shandong (China) Headquarters signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Feb 2 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.

According to the agreement, Jinan Energy Group will provide a supply of heating, cooling, domestic hot water, and fuel gas for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects by Greenland.

The two sides will also strengthen cooperation in mixed reform of enterprises, infrastructure construction, and capital investment.

Jinan Energy Group is a Stated-owned enterprise mainly involved in municipal heat and fuel gas supply and new energy research and development. Greenland, a major property developer in China, has been developing urban areas since 2019 and has carried out 15 construction projects with an investment of 120 billion yuan ($18.58 billion). Cooperation between the two sides is expected to promote smart city development in Jinan.
