He made the remarks during his online speech at the "Connecting Shandong with Fortune Global 500" USA special event, which was held on Sept 29 in Jinan, capital of Shandong.

Cohen provided a brief overview of his group and client companies' ongoing business in Shandong.

For example, Nouryon is a leading chemical company with a manufacturing center in Shandong's Boxing county, and Cohen Group worked with Chinese regulators to help it obtain a permit. With increased confidence in the long-term development of Shandong, Nouryon has decided to invest an additional $50 million into their manufacturing center there.

The Cohen Group is also helping client companies such as Cleveland Clinic engage with potential partners in Shandong. Many of its existing clients, such as Amway, Pfizer, Upjohn, and Ecolab, already have a notable presence in Shandong and are looking for more opportunities to expand their business and support Shandong's economy.

"I am glad to see that Shandong has recovered quickly from the COVID-19 outbreak. Cohen Group and our clients with interests in Shandong have been impressed by the efficiency of the Shandong government in reviving the economy," said Cohen.
