​International tea industry exposition held in Jinan

The 14th China (Jinan) International Tea Industry Exposition and the 8th Tea Culture Festival were held in Jinan, Shandong province, from July 31 to Aug 3.

The four-day event was designed to exhibit featured tea products from across China, deepen mutual exchanges in the tea industry and further boost traditional Chinese tea culture.

The expo involved a total of 2,600 booths at the Jinan International Exhibition Center and Jinan Tea Wholesale Market.

It attracted more than 100 tea brands from 69 famous tea-producing areas. A wide variety of teas including Pu'er, black tea, oolong and yellow tea were on offer.

In addition, a series of tea culture activities were also held, including tea cultural courses, a tea brand promotional conference and tea art performances to help visitors get more familiar with tea culture.
