A conference on the high-end equipment manufacturing industry between China and Japan was held online in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, on July 30.

The conference also focused on industrial exchange between the central Japan prefecture of Aichi and Shandong province.

Li Ganjie, governor of Shandong, sent a letter of congratulations to Hideaki Omura, the governor of the Japanese prefecture of Aichi, via an online video. More than 100 entrepreneurs from China and Japan have exchanged ideas online.

Eight enterprises promoted their major projects at the conference, and Nobote Intelligent Equipment (Shandong) Co signed a cooperation agreement.

The Shandong equipment manufacturing industry has a strong industrial foundation, and the province plans to further improve its innovation capacity, expand foreign cooperation, and build industrial clusters to boost its high-end equipment manufacturing industry.

The conference will serve as a platform to promote in-depth industrial integration and exchange between the two sides.
