The Yantai municipal government has recently issued several beneficial measures to improve cultural tourism, foster the development of new industries, and promote industrial integration.

Supportive policies have been introduced and top-level guidance has been strengthened. Ten million yuan ($1.4 million) worth of special funds have been arranged to boost cultural and tourism consumption annually.

In addition, financial rewards have been given for the creation of national and provincial brands, and support is also being provided to internationally renowned hotels.

A series of measures benefiting residents has also been launched. A total of 30 million yuan worth of consumption vouchers have been issued to citizens to promote economic recovery. In addition, businesses have introduced various forms of promotional events.

Activities such as the Yantai civic culture festival and various holiday events have been held to accelerate the recovery of local and provincial tourism markets.
