Once a remote, poverty-stricken village located in the depth of Yimeng Mountain, Zhuquan (bamboo and spring) in Linyi, Shandong province has been turned into a prosperous village with a booming tourism industry.

The village, endowed with undulating peaks, green landscapes, crystal clear mountain springs and lush groves of bamboo, has been ramping up efforts to develop itself into a rural tourism site with the support of the local government.

Snack stalls as well as catering, entertainment and accommodation facilities have been set up in the village, providing jobs for local villagers.
