Official data show that the added value of these industries in Jinan Innovation Zone increased by 11.9 percent in 2019, 2.8 times higher than the growth rate of the city.

Officials said that the Jinan Innovation Zone has been accelerating the development of emerging industries to promote the cluster development of intelligent industries.

To this end, the area has gathered a number of enterprises with high-end technologies. Among them is Shandong Youbaote Intelligent Robots Company, which has developed a series of intelligent robots such as bionic robots, teaching robots and hydraulic mechanical arms, all of which received many orders during the COVID-19 epidemic.

A remote inspection device developed by Shandong Guohui Anchuang Intelligent IoT Development Co helped the Ford Motor Group complete an online inspection of equipment from Jier Machine-Tool Group. The online inspection ensures that the product can be delivered on time.

According to statistics, the online sales volume of the Jinan Innovation Zone in the first three months of 2020 hit 27.4 billion yuan ($3.87 billion), an increase of 9.3 percent year-on-year, highest of all districts in the city.
