An exhibition featuring artworks by Guo Zhenyu opened at the Shandong Museum in Jinan, capital of East China‘s Shandong province, on Dec 22.

The exhibition, tiled "Original Energy", displays 21 pieces of Guo's works, which use plants, bricks, wood, sand, scraps of paper and other raw materials to construct a world full of metaphor.

Jointly organized by the Shandong University of Arts, Shandong Artists' Association, Shandong Oil Painting Society and Shandong Art Museum, the exhibition will last until Jan 15, 2020.
