Haier is willing to share its achievements in replacing old growth drivers with new ones, said Zhou Yunjie, president of Haier, at the ongoing Qingdao Multinationals Summit on Oct 19.
According to Zhou, Haier has made great efforts in accelerating the transition from traditional growth drivers by upgrading technologies, establishing platforms and improving mechanisms.
Zhou said that technologies play an important role in replacing old growth drivers.
He said that Haier leads the household appliance industry in number of patents. According to him, the company also leads the way in setting standards.
Haier also established an industrial platform to help small and medium enterprises speed up the replacement of old growth drivers and industrial upgrading.

Zhou said that Haier has established such platforms in Wuxi, Tianjin and other cities across the country to exchange experience.
Aiming to build a platform for the win-win growth of enterprises, Haier also stepped up efforts in improving mechanisms.
Zhou also shared the company's experience in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative.
According to Zhou, the group has established nearly 25 industrial parks and 110 factories in countries and regions involved in the initiative.
"We'd like to bring Chinese brands to the countries and regions involved in the initiative," Zhou added.
