The two-day event was jointly held by the Shandong Association of Artificial Intelligence (SDAAI) and the Heze government.

The Heze AI Industry Research Center of the SDAAI was unveiled at the opening ceremony.

The organizing committee invited well-known experts in the domestic AI field to give special academic reports on pertinent research issues such as machine learning, pattern recognition, and data mining.

Representatives of more than 40 universities in Shandong province, senior executives of more than 20 leading AI enterprises in China, and leaders of more than 120 high-tech enterprises in Heze participated in the conference and sub-forms, sharing their latest scientific research and technological achievements, innovative ideas, as well as scientific methods in the AI industry.

The conference is designed to improve the level of academic research and industrial application in the AI field, as well as accelerate the transformation of old and new growth drivers in Heze.

The development of the AI industry is inseparable from the support of talents and expert teams. In order to attract more high-end talents, Heze has issued a number of policies and set up 11 domestic and overseas talent recruitment stations.

The city has continued to streamline administrative procedures to create a favorable environment for attracting talents and entrepreneurs.

The city aims to build itself into a demonstration city in AI research, development, and application, as well as talent training. It strives to build a competitive AI industry that can exert an influence in the four provinces of Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, and Anhui that will spread across the whole country.
