The fourth Conference on Dialogue of China-Central Asia Cooperation was held on May 13 in Jinan, East China's Shandong province.
With a theme of how to jointly promote the Belt and Road Initiative and share cooperative achievements, the conference aims to promote industrial cooperation, youth exchange and cultural understanding between Central Asian countries and China.
The two-day conference included a main forum featuring industrial cooperation between the BRI countries and three sub-forums themed around media agencies exchange, education and Jinan-Central Asia cooperation respectively.
Jointly hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Jinan municipal government, the conference welcomed more than 160 attendees.
Government officials from the five Central Asian counties and China, representatives from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as well as experts in related fields attended.
