Shandong province recently introduced its public service cloud platform in Munich, Germany, the first such activity for the province in Europe.

Select Shandong is a Chinese-English public service platform where information on projects, talents, policies and capital in the province is available, according to Yan Zhaowan, an inspector of Shandong's Department of Commerce.

Yan said at the promotional activity that in regards to economic aggregate Shandong ranks among the top three in China.

As a pivotal province along the Belt and Road route and the starting point of the New Eurasian Land Bridge, Shandong looks to create a topnotch business climate and offer efficient services for its entrepreneurs and investors.

During the promotional activity, 10 companies from Shandong put on a road show to introduce their projects in cultural communication, cultural tourism, park development, new materials, intelligent manufacturing and biotechnology.

They also conducted business negotiations with representatives from local investment promotion departments, business associations and companies.

After the promotional activity in Germany, the Shandong delegation will promote the cloud platform in Switzerland and then embark on other countries.
