Exhibitions showcase 40 years of development in Tai'an

Two themed exhibitions kicked off in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province on Dec 10 to highlight the profound changes and achievements of the city in the 40 years of the reform and opening-up policy.

The photography exhibition, currently the largest being held in Tai'an, is taking place at the Taishan International Convention and Exhibition Center.

A total of 700 artworks were shortlisted to present to present the city's fruitful results in the 40 years of the reform and opening-up policy.

The painting and calligraphy exhibition is being held at Tai'an Art Gallery showcasing the artworks from three generations of artists in art and calligraphy creation activities in the past 40 years. The exhibition presents 120 painting artworks and 80 pieces of calligraphy.

The two exhibitions will last until Dec 31.
