A Yantai delegation led by Zhang Shuping, the Party secretary of Yantai city, attended Shandong Week sereis in Hong Kong to promote investment and cooperation with Hong Kong companies.

Targeting Hong Kong investors and companies, the 2018 (Hong Kong) Shandong Week is running from Dec 4 to 7 in the special administrative region on the eastern side of the Pearl River estuary in southern China.

A series of featured events, including investment and trade seminars, high-level talks and promotional activities are scheduled to give a comprehensive display of Shandong's economic strength, scientific prowess and preferential policies as well as to strengthen exchanges between the two regions.

During the visit, Zhang attended promotion activities and the strategic cooperation conferences with China Resources Holdings, China Merchants Group, and China Everbright Group.

The Yantai delegation conducted in-depth exchanges and reached broad consensus on strengthening cooperation in such fields as cultural tourism, medical and health care, urban construction, financial services, energy security, trade and logistics.

Yantai signed 26 key projects with a total investment of $15.37 billion in emerging industries such as modern services, cultural tourism, electronic information and new energy.
