23 projects worth $3.15b signed in Tai'an

Twenty-three projects with a contractual investment of 21.76 billion yuan ($3.15 billion) were signed during the visit of a delegation from Tai'an, Shandong province to the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta regions from Nov 7 to 10.

It is hoped that the signing of the projects, covering the fields of new material, new energy, big data, high-end equipment, intelligence manufacturing, cultural tourism, modern agriculture, energy conservation and environment protection, and the new generation of information technology, will accelerate the city's conversion of new and old kinetic energy and boost the local economy.

The delegation was led by Cui Honggang, municipal Party secretary of Tai'an.

"Tai'an has been perfecting the infrastructural facilities, as well as simplifying the administrative procedures and delegating powers to the lower levels in recent years to improve its business environment and to attract more investment in Tai'an," said Cui.

Additionally, Cui also paid a visit to the first China International Import Expo held in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10. He visited the exhibition areas of service trade, automobile, and intelligent and high-end equipment, and learnt about the current development trends of international technologies.
