Eryue'er, the second day of the second Chinese lunar month, also known as longtaitou, or Dragon Head Raising Day, fell on March 11 this year. Zibo in Shandong province held a special cultural event on the day in order to give international students the chance to experience traditional Chinese culture.

At the beginning of the event, the group of students enjoyed a grand dragon dance show in which the dancers skillfully maneuvered a giant dragon. The international students were captivated and eager to try dancing with the dragon.

The group of students also interacted with local residents, with the latter introducing the students to traditional Chinese festivals, customs, and culture. This two-way exchange allowed both Chinese and international students to gain a deeper understanding of each other's cultures.

The students said that they will introduce Chinese culture to their friends and family back home, while expressing hope for more opportunities in the future to participate in such cultural exchange activities.
