Zibo, a city in East China's Shandong province that is renowned for its ceramics, will host the 23rd China (Zibo) International Ceramics Exposition from Sept 9 to 12.

The expo will have one main venue and five branch venues that span a combined 900,000 square meters.
The main venue of the exhibition will be divided into four parts: Prologue, Glazed Pavilion, Ceramic Pavilion, and Consumer Goods Pavilion.
The Glazed Pavilion showcases the unique styles of glaze, while the Ceramic Pavilion highlights the craftsmanship and creativity of ceramics.
The Consumer Goods Pavilion exhibits a range of products, including home textiles, clothing, liquor, kitchen appliances, and furniture.

The expo will also have an exhibition featuring the achievements of the Tsinghua University National Art Fund Project, a vocational skills competition and an arts and crafts excellence recognition activity.
Two group standards in the Chinese ceramics industry will also be validated during the event.
The opening ceremony will take place on Sept 9 at 9:00 am in Hall C of the Zibo International Exhibition Center.
On the eve of the expo opening, Huaguang Ceramics Co Ltd will hold a large-scale aerial performance featuring 1,000 drones.
The recommended spots to watch the show include Qisheng Lake Park and Haidai Pavilion.
