Lee Sangmin, president of South Korea-based New YS Motors Co Ltd, and his delegation visited the Zibo Economic Development Zone in Shandong province on May 29.
During the meeting, they discussed investments to establish a platform for ceramic product imports and exports, as well as the import of luxury cars.
After welcoming Lee Sangmin and his team, Wang Jian, director of the administrative committee of the Zibo EDZ, introduced the zone's economic and social development. Known as the "city of the future" in Zibo, the zone boasts a solid industrial foundation, a concentration of ceramic industry resources, and a thriving automotive retail sector.
In recent years, the zone has focused on the "1333" development strategy, establishing three leading industries: advanced manufacturing, new energy and materials, and the digital economy. The zone's investment and business environment has also been further optimized.
Wang expressed the hope that this meeting will serve as an opportunity for more in-depth discussions on cooperation.
Lee Sangmin expressed his desire for stronger communications and collaborations, aiming to achieve cooperation in broader fields.
The visit concluded with a positive outlook for future collaboration between New YS Motors Co Ltd and the Zibo EDZ, reflecting mutual eagerness to contribute to the zone's growth and success.
