Four museums focusing on Yellow River culture and history opened to the public in Gaoqing county on May 18. They are the Yellow River tower museum, the Yellow River tablet inscription museum, the Yellow River literature and history museum and the Yellow River water town museum.

Gaoqing county's history is intertwined with the Yellow River, thus its Yellow River culture is profound. Together with another nine Yellow River-related museums, the county has formed a Yellow River museum cluster to promote and display Yellow River culture to international audiences.

As the Yellow River intersects Gaoqing county for 47 kilometers, there are many tablet inscriptions and cultural relics related to Yellow River culture here. These artifacts are records of the profound history and development of Yellow River civilization.

The Yellow River is known as the "Mother River" in China, and Yellow River culture is the root of the Chinese nation. Areas along the Yellow River were deeply influenced by the river, as it changed their industries, agriculture, urban construction, production, as well as their folk customs. Gaoqing county preserved many precious cultural and historical materials related to the governance, development, and conservation of the Yellow River.

The Yellow River tablet inscription museum not only collected tablet inscriptions but also tablet rubbings, recording productions, banquet artifacts, and various art work depicting scenes of ancient times.

The Yellow River literature and history museum collected more than 1,000 local records, 1,500 pieces of cultural and historical materials and nearly 100 material artifacts related to Yellow River governance.

These museums display the colorful agricultural civilization, folk culture, and social and economic development of areas along the Yellow River.

In the future, Gaoqing county will continue to search for and preserve Yellow River artifacts and push forward the integrated development of its agriculture, culture, and tourism sectors to better pass down the Yellow River culture.
