A Russian delegation led by the governor of Novgorod Oblast and the mayor of Veliky Novgorod visited Zibo city in East China's Shandong province on April 3-6, where they met with local leaders, toured businesses and held exchanges and negotiations.
During their stay, the delegation visited the city's Zhoucun district and engaged in talks on establishing commercial relations.

The representatives also visited the Zibo municipal government service center and toured the Zibo Comprehensive Bonded Zone and enterprises.
They both sides discussed and exchanged ideas on developing commercial relations between the Zibo Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the SEZ Novgorod.

At the Shandong University of Technology, the delegation witnessed a signing ceremony of a friendly school agreement between the Shandong University of Technology and Yaroslav-the-wise Novgorod State University.
