Editor's note: Tu'er Ye, or the rabbit god, is a divine figure worshipped by folks in Beijing and East China's Shandong province during past Mid-Autumn Festivals.

Tu'er Ye is said to bring people peace and good luck. In the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), people had the custom of inviting Tu'er Ye to worship in their homes and sending his image to their friends and relatives as gifts. To invite Tu'er Ye is to invite peace, while to send his likeness is to send blessings and good fortune.

So, what does a Tu'er Ye look like and how do you make one? Let's check out this video to learn more.
